Animal Crossing Movie Coming Soon
Due to the astonishing success of the Animal Crossing series (over three million copies sold worldwide), the Animal Crossing staff has decided to join forces with an animated film director and create a movie based on the Animal Crossing world.
Jouji Shimura (Master Keaton, Shin Angyo Onshi) will be the director, and the movie will involve his drection with the AC staff working as consultants.

The currently untitled Animal Crossing animated movie is is being prepared for a planned Japanese opening in December. Serving as director is Jouji Shimura, known for his work on Master Keaton and Shin Angyo Onshi. The game’s staff is said to be cooperating on the project, which promises to retain the themes that have helped the game appeal to all audiences.
