Back in the day Fatal Fury was the shiznit when it came to fighting games. A long time later, does it still pack a mean punch on the Wii virtual console Art of Fighting release?

Art Of Fighting Reviewed

IGN have something to say on the subject:
"isually, Art of Fighting has a few notable features that did end up being important in the long run for SNK's growth as a fighting game developer. But, beyond those, the engine, characters and overall level of fun for this particular early title are lacking. You'd be better off saving the 900 Wii Points it would cost you to download this game, and wait for some of its much improved sequels - or some other SNK fighters, like Samurai Shodown, which benefited from Art of Fighting's advances while offering much more original and interesting characters, moves and settings."
For its great memories of a misspent youth, I for one am ready to shell out those 900 Wii points. The IGN folks have a different idea though, awarding the game a paltry 4.5 out of 10...
