Kotaku claims that Ubisoft has announced that they will be publishing Asphalt: Urban GT 2 on the Nintendo DS. The game has six supposed game modes, thirty unique racing tracks, and thirty-six licensed cars and motorcycles. It will also have musical tracks from moby and the Pussycat Dolls (Xbox Space's Anthony's favorite musical group). Expect to see this title in stores in 2007.

About time we got a sequel I liked the first one lets hope that with the development time number 2 will be even better

got my copy now and am very impressed the handeling has improved from the first and the inclusion of police chases can only be a good think the colision detection has been improved aswell (althought crashes are not to the degree of burnout on the psp) alltold if you are looking for a racing game for the DS i would have no problems in recomending this

I heard that the game features real cars and motorbikes in real locations using a 3D engine, backed with solid driving and a realistic collision engine. I have tested it on my N-gage but I suppose there's a big difference between N-gage and PSP or Nintendo DS.
