Bomberman To Return To The DS
Filed in archive Nintendo DS on September 20, 2007
Fans of the Bomberman franchise (count me in) will be pleased to hear that last years IGN award winning Bomberman Land Touch! title is going to get a sequel early next year.

Aptly titled Bomberman Land Touch! 2, the sequel is set to pack in great customization features, 40 mini-games, and multiplayer mania galore, building on the successful formula that made the first DS outing such a knockout success. As someone that has followed Bomberman through thick and thin this looks like it could be one of the better - if not the best - titles to grace what has always been a simple, addictive series of games.
IGN have some early exclusive screengrabs, and describe the gameplay like so:"Fans of the previous Bomberman Land will already know what to expect from Touch 2, as it'll use the same exploration and story-based overworld to deliver tons of unique, touch-based mini-games. As you complete the adventure you'll access new minis, all of which can be played with up to four players wirelessly in both single and multi-card play.
And just like last year's version hardcore Bomberman fans can look forward to a full Battle Mode, complete with up to eight players locally, or four players via Nintendo WiFi Connection. Team that with full stylus control in the main game, and you've got one seriously packed Bomberman package to kick off 2008."
Excellent!
