Brothers In Arms To Hit Wii

Filed in archive Wii on September 3, 2007

The popular WW2 FPS franchise Brothers In Arms is about to hit the Nintendo Wii, in a game that combines the missions from previously games Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood.

While the game won't be offering any new content, though, it will be making use of the innovative Wii control system, which should prove to be an exciting way to get immersed in the battles and skirmishes that made previous incarnations of the franchise so enjoyable.

Demiurge Studio's official site speaks of the ability to:
"Aim, shoot, throw grenades and command your troops with intuitive gestures only possible with the Wii-mote."

Aussie Nintendo tell of the idea behind Brothers In Arms: Double Time:
"The game tells a true story based around D-day and the 101st airborne paratroopers that led the invasion. Players will become engrossed in the war Torn environments, with the game's missions structured around action reports, aerial images and real eye witness accounts, which are all said to guarantee precision."

While this might not be enough to sway those that have already played the games on another platform, this certainly looks to be a great looking Wii title for those new to the franchise.
