Don't give up on the Wii!

WiiWii.tv has a rather interesting list of 35 reasons why we shouldn't give up on the Wii. As if anyone was planning on doing that in the first place. Much of the list is filled with future games such as Animal Crossing, Super Mario Galaxy and pokemon Battle Revolution, but a few non-game points are mentioned as well. For starters, online play is a promised feature on the Wii. The system already features a rudimentary way of interacting with friends online, but playing games with/against pals would seal the deal. Homebrew and hacking are also mentioned, as it seems the Wii community is surprisingly active in the shady areas of console use. And the big finale: indie developers. A few small companies have managed to get dev kits from Nintendo (Telltale Games, makers of the excellent Sam & Max episodic adventures are a shining example) and this could open the door for more left-field games to appear on the system.
