Dragon Blade: Wrath Of Fire Hits The Wii Any Time Now
Filed in archive Wii by Michael Pick on September 5, 2007
The hotly anticipated Dragon Blade: Wrath Of Fire, from D3 games, is due to be released any time now, and not before time. Exclusive to the Wii, and of course making use of its unusual control mechanism, DB:WOF puts the player in charge of a Link-like player who must hack and slash their way to collecting the powers of six powerful dragons.

In D3's press announcement they describe the game's close links to the Wii system:
"Dragon Blade is a 3rd person action‐adventure game where players unleash the magical powers of a fierce dragon, creating a unique and visually stunning Weapon through their sword and arms. Players will utilize an intuitively designed, two‐handed Wii control scheme and use both arms simultaneously to emulate the dragon's arms, wings, tail, fire and more as they embark on an epic fantasy adventure in more than 20 unique environments in 6 visually stunning worlds."

The game is released at the end of October, and looks like it is going to be the hack and slash of the season.
