Remember when Square president Yoichi Wada hinted that it is possible that Dragon Quest remakes will be coming to the DS even before Dragon Quest 9? Well, apparently a leaked scan from the upcoming issue of Jump! Magazine confirms that parts IV, V and VI are on their way! These will also receive the same 3D treatment that Final Fantasy 3 got when it was remade for Nintendo's handheld.

Square Enix president Yoichi Wada apparently wasn't joking around when he hinted earlier this year that remakes of past Dragon Quest hits may make it out prior to the release of Dragon Quest IX. Today, a few leaked images from the upcoming issue of Jump confirm that parts IV, V and VI are on the way!
Aside from the switch to 3D visuals, we know nothing about what to expect over the original 16-bit versions. The part IV remake is set for Japanese release this winter, so details should follow shortly.
