Nintendo DS
by jack on March 2, 2006
The sharp, new, ipod-white colored Nintendo DS launched in japan today, and already Nintendo is being hassled to produce more Lites--that's right, the entire country's stock of DS Lites is completely sold out, in the first day.
Even in Japan, where everyone owns a DS and a copy of Nintendogs, the DS Lite is a massive hit. Most online retailers like Lik-Sang and Play Asia aren't even accepting anymore pre-orders, and have notified a number of customers that already have preordered that they likely won't be receiving a Lite for quite some time.
Nintendo looks to be back on top in Japan.

What a market to be in. It seems more and more that for the first couple of months you can not get your hands on any new system. Unless of course you can camp out or travel. I def. like how tech. moves and grows, but there is still nothing like the memory of going to Montgomery Wards to buy my fisrst Nintendo system when I was about 8.
I also fully think that Japan is way ahead of the U.S when it comes to tech.
