Game Delays or No?

's game sales (what did you think I'd say?) about possible delays in key Nintendo-made games for the Wii. The gaming website Computer and Videogames claims they have learned that Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will be pushed back until the holiday season of 2007. Speculation began spreading across the web like, well, like almost anything spreads across the web as to the validity of the supposed information.First of all, the article never states its source, so that's our first clue it isn't real news. Second, CVG is a UK-based gaming site, not North American, so even if the delay is real it's probably for Europe. Third, this Slashdot article points to an interview with Reggie Fils-Aime where he clearly stated Nintendo's big franchises would be spaced out evenly in order to keep interest in the Wii strong.
There you have it. No proof, but plenty of reason to disbelieve. Now back to playing the Wii Forecast channel game.
