Ghost Squad Preview
Filed in archive Wii by Michael Pick on September 28, 2007
It's certainly been a long time coming, but the ancient (unofficial) sequel to the even more Ancient Virtua Cop is about to hit the Wii, and IGN have some tasty video footage of it.

Ghost Squad Preview

Bozon writes:
"For starters, it's the core Ghost Squad game, which includes the three main chapters, each running you about ten minutes. It sounds a bit short, but factor in the multiple branching pathways and level system that continuously makes your overall play experience harder each time you go through the scenarios, and you've got a game that could run the average light gun enthusiast about eight hours or so. Levels will change enemy spawns, morph from day to night, or add in new power-ups or more difficult enemies, so your experience changes pretty drastically despite it being the same core levels you're touring through."
Short game time aside, Bozon notes that it could easily have run on a Dreamcast, and no real improvements have been made to the graphics since then. Nevertheless, gameplay is good, and the Wii controllers work well for shooting with.

Still, personally I'll be holding out for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, which looks a lot less dated, and a lot cooler in my humble opinion.
