Wii
by John B on December 21, 2006
The New York Times has a great article and slide-show on their website explaining in layman terms (read: small words) just how the Wii Remote works. There are some spiffy cut-away graphics in the gallery and it explains the science behind some of the magic of motion-sensitive control. Unfortunately it disproves my grand theory that a little man lives inside the wiimote and tells the console what to do, but it doesn't discount gnomes, elves, or magic waves of energy that emanate from the center of the earth.
