Where does all the, ah, um, "budget" wii titles come from? Such as the now legendary Ninjabread Man?
From publishers like Destineer, who has agreed to publish all those wonderful titles from Data Design Interactive, such as the legendary Ninjabread Man and Rock n' Roll racing. It's interesting to read this article, because it seems that money is being made from this kind of stuff!
Of course, as someone who is heading to the video game industry myself, I ask, "what if I were involved in one of these games?" Of course the macho man part of me would say "you would never let that happen!"
Yet games are often determined not by talent, but indeed by budget and time. I don't blame the developers for games that are bad as much as others do: especially budget games that by definition cannot pull out all the stops.
Anyway, Read this article from Stephen Totilo from MTV.
