Nintendo DS

Remember spyro? He's a cutesy purple dragon that debuted on the original Playstation. These days, he's a legend apparently, and lives on the DS.

IGN have coughed up a series of videos of his latest outing, and as it happens the footage looks remarkably like Spyro's Playstation gameplay (and graphics), which isn't bad going when you consider the size of the DS.
While this one isn't going to have me running to the shops in a Spyro frenzy, the older game was a pleasant enough 3D platform type affair and made for an interesting distraction at least. The obvious difference is that the DS game makes good use of the touch capabilities of the handheld, even if they don't seem to be doing a great deal with the topmost screen.
