Mario Kart may have the best online implementation of any current Nintendo title, but that doesn't mean they are immune to the same problems that infest online play eveywhere else. Cheaters are turning in silly track times (as in .0004) by using pre-made scripts that they run from presumably modded consoles.
Nintendo should wield the mighty ban hammer on anyone who posts a stupid track time like that. Obviously they can't stop someone from posting a realistic score using cheats (they can probably detect it but it is harder), but these turkeys are flaunting the system.
Online cheating is a pet peeve of mine. I really despise it, because in making yourself out to be something you're not, you make the game less fun for everyone else. And, for the record, true "glitches" (sword jumping in Halo, snaking in Mario Kart DS) isn't cheating- but running actual scripts/software most definitely us.
