Media Center Wii

Curious with the home media center applications of the freshly-online Wii, many gamers/bloggers have been testing streaming music and video applications in conjunction with the Wii. Straight from LiquidIce's Nintendo Wii Hacks comes a great round-up of streaming music solutions, all of which work with varying success rates. Here are two headline programs that are gaining popularity around the web:

Orb - An already-popular media center app, Orb seems to work very well with our Wii buddy, although some video files cause it to choke.

Wii Media Center X - Still in a very early alpha stage of development, this app by Red Kawa promises to be everything you could want from a media center Wii. It doesn't even support mp3 files at the moment, though, so bookmark it and check back later.
