It's here! Metroid Prime 3: Corruption hit the shelves today and has been receiving stunning reviews ever since.

This is a big day for Wii gamers, and the hype has been steadily building in the Nintendo blogosphere for months. Thankfully here is a game that fully lives up to its promise. In what is to be the final entry in Nintendo's best-loved shooter trilogy, players once again take control of alien-dispatching bounty huntress Samus Aran in a frenetic, but smart FPS that still requires you to put your thinking cap on.
Packed with puzzles, great use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller, and looking the business, this is certain to go down as one of the best games released this year. The game world feels a lot more interactive than usual, thanks to the ability to use the Wii's innovative dual controls to physically grab and manipulate objects as you work your way through head-scratching levels and amazing boss levels.
In Game Daily's excellent review by Chris Buffa, he notes that:
The perfect end to a classic trilogy and one to add to your must-play list.

''To activate devices (like levers), manipulate the remote. Need to pull something forward in the game? The pull the remote toward you. Need to turn something clockwise? Then mimic the motion with the remote. Want to push something forward? Then move the Wii-mote forward, toward the TV. These charade-like controls prove to be a simple innovation that works seamlessly and adds a layer of immersion to the game.''
The perfect end to a classic trilogy and one to add to your must-play list.
