Michael Pachter Praises the Revolution

Michael Pachter from Wedbush Morgan Securities recently spoke at the Games Marketing Conference, and had this to say about the Revolution:

"People have written off the Revolution and that's foolish. Microsoft has one game now: it's Halo, and everything else sucks. You're going to see the Revolution as the second console of choice in the household." Michael Pachter: Managing director of research at Wedbush Morgan Securities

He went on about exclusive franchises and touched on how the Revolution will have far more exclusive titles than the other two next-generation consoles, due to the fact that the Revolution's controller will make it tough to offer the same experience on the PS3 or Xbox 360.

As far as his claim that the Revolution will be primarily a second console, Nintendo has even admitted they would have no problem being a second console to a consumer's PS3 or Xbox 360. If most console owners have just two consoles, and Nintendo is the second console in most of those homes, Nintendo will be laughing all the way to the bank for the next few years.
