New Wii Development Team Interview

A new interview has been posted on the official Wii website. I love these developer interviews. They offer a fascinating insight into the way Nintendo of Japan's various development teams work and think. This time, they talk about the Wii Shop Channel's new Gifting feature. Here's an excerpt:

Though it's nice to receive messages on your Wii Message Board, sometimes you run out of reasons to send a message. Sending a gift, however, provides users with an opportunity to get in touch with friends they haven't met up with for awhile, hopefully making it easier for users to keep in touch more often.
