Wii

Four new Wii Virtual Console titles have just been released in North America today, bringing the total number of available games to 25. Sega continues to pour their classic genesis games out like warm honey, dropping both the puzzle game Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and the side-scrolling shooter Gunstar Heroes on the VC. Gunstar Heroes is an extraordinarily well-made game by the aptly-named developer Treasure. It's worth its weight in Wii Points and I highly recommend it if you're a fan of shooters such as Contra.

Also on the table this week is Ice Hockey, the classic NES game that proves you don't need fancy (insert nonsensical plural noun here) to make a fun sports game. A killer Turbografx-16 pinball game by the name of Alien Crush also makes its debut.
Of course we all know the true winner in the Virtual Console wars is Wario's Woods. You know I'm right.
