Nintendo: 14 million Wii by next March :-P
Nintendo has big plans for the next fiscal year (starting this April). President Satoru Iwata recently announced the company is working on 45 games for the Wii and 79 for the DS (note that "working on" doesn't mean "releasing very soon"). Iwata also made a bold statement that nintendo will sell 14 million Wii over the next 12 months, three times the number sold since the system's release. Those are some mighty big goals, but if the company's momentum continues, not out of the question. Before long, every man, woman and child in this quadrant of the galaxy will own a Wii. Maybe even the dogs and cats, too.
