Nintendo and GDC

Nintendo is going through some re-shuffling in the business end with shareholders shifting stock behind the scenes in Japan. Because of the ruckus Nintendo can't divulge any new information while at the Game Developers Conference. No juicy tidbits about Super Smash Bros. Brawl, no screenshots of Super Mario Galaxy, and no future plans for conquering the world. It's unfortunate, but that doesn't mean they're taking a week off while everyone else has fun at GDC.
In an effort to make the Wii much more attractive to game developers, Nintendo is offering hands-on lessons in designing games for the Wii. The system is already much easier to build for than the Xbox 360 or PS3, but using the remote is something new to the world and Nintendo wants to make sure its done right. Maybe this will spur a surge of games in the near future?
