Nintendo DS Spring 2007 game releases

Not to be outdone by it's larger, more expensive cousin, the Nintendo DS has an extraordinary lineup of games slated for release in North America this spring. Twenty new games (that's 20 for fans of Arabic numerals, XX for the Roman aficionados) are waiting to be unleashed, from sleeper hits such as Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords to famous names like Wario: Master of Disguise, Meteos: Disney Magic and cake mania. An excellent lineup, I say, yet my wallet insists on complaining.



Also on the good news roster, according to Nintendo's press site the DS is the fastest-selling video game system in the world. Over 10 million people in the Americas alone own a DS, and that number is growing rapidly. Since its launch in November of 2004, the DS has sold approximately nine systems every sixty seconds. Time to pat yourself on the back, Nintendo.
