Game Music
by Robert Howard on January 2, 2008
I'm a big music fan: in fact, music was my first vocation in life. Since getting involved in video games, I've begun collecting video game soundtracks: a great combination of my first love with my second!
So, what's out there and available for music and Nintendo fans?
Here's a quick overview:

Mario and Zelda Big Band (Import)
This is a personal favorite because of the high energy level throughout the concert. Be warned: a few of the performances are not up to American standards (Japanese game music CD's sometimes have lower production and performance values, as a general rule- this is not to say the Japanese aren't good musicians, not at all: but they have a sort of "lax" attitude toward game music CDs because they don't consider it serious music. Or, at least, thats my take!).
Despite that, most of the tracks sound great. Highly recommended.
