Nintendo Wii, DS game release dates

Nintendo has released a full list of games expected to hit stores during the second financial quarter of this year (April-July). The biggest surprise is… there's not much there. Other than a few megaton games we already knew about (Super Paper Mario, Mario Party 8, and several Pokemon games), the game list is fairly dry. Summer time is traditionally a low point for video game releases (hint: get outside and enjoy the sun), and 2007 looks no different. One good thing comes out of this, however: tons of great content later in the year. From Nintendo alone we'll receive Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the DS. So sit tight, work on the backlog of games, and wait for the bomb to be dropped.

The Nintendo Wii is a fun, engaging, wildly innovative game console that’s dramatically different from the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, and way more affordable, too.
