One year ago, Nintendo Revolution becomes Wii
Filed in archive News on April 22, 2007
Ahh the good ole days. Remember when Wii was called Revolution? One year ago nintendo pulled the rug out from under us and unveiled the three-letter name. It took weeks for the sniggering, potty jokes and disbelief to subside. But like Nintendo said, we would get used to it, and that we have. Gone is the old Revolution logo and words like "Revmote", and in their place is the slick "Wii" logo and the Wiimote. The laughter seemed like it would never end, but a few million in system sales means only Nintendo is laughing now.
