Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney To Stay On Store Shelves
Filed in archive Nintendo DS on March 13, 2006
One of the Nintendo DS's best-selling games, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney was an instant cult hit. Capcom, who had sent out a relatively small shipment, was unprepared for the game's unexpected success and unfortunately for many gamers, Ace Attorney was sold out. This led to rumors that the game had been discontinued by Capcom for the US.
Good news: NCS, a game-importing company, denied those rumors and confirmed that Capcom would keep producing the DS title:
"The new production of the USA version of Phoenix Wright has shipped from Capcom and NCS expects to restock the game on Monday (March 13, 2006). We will process and dispatch all backorders once the game arrives and new orders are welcome. Please note that the price being charged from suppliers is slightly higher than the original shipment. As such, the price is now US$35."
Also notable is the $5.00 USD increase in price, as would be expected in the supply and demand world.
