Nintendo DS

Fans of the survival horror genre have not had a great deal to celebrate in the DS' line-up so far. But Dementium: The Ward looks well set to change that, with frankly great looking gore-soaked first-person horror antics set to grace those tiny dual screens at long last.

In the following video, courtesy of IGN, cinematic cuts tie in with some tantalizing footage of the gameplay, and this looks like it genuinely might supply some goosebumps along the way. As someone that has spent way too many dark nights keeping Resident Evil/biohazard and Silent Hill company, it's exciting to think that it will now be even easier to snuggle up on a dark night with a good dose of horror gaming.
IGN note:
I have to agree. This looks like a piece of breakthrough software for the DS to me, but then I am a horror buff.

IGN note:
"If you own a DS you owe it to yourself to follow Dementium: The Ward. This original FPS horror for the Nintendo DS is developed by Renegade Kid, published by Gamecock, and conceived in the bowels of hell itself. As the only game of its kind on DS, the game has instantly gained cult classic status even before its release, and as its October 31 release date draws near it's time to dive a bit deeper into its twisted world"
I have to agree. This looks like a piece of breakthrough software for the DS to me, but then I am a horror buff.
