Pokemon Diamond and Pearl sell many, many units
Filed in archive Nintendo DS on April 25, 2007
After what seemed like a decades-long wait, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have finally been released in North America. The games have sold over 5 million units in Japan since launching in late September, setting a number of sales records in our favorite country across the sea. How are they faring in the U.S.? According to a recent nintendo of america press release, they sold a combined 1 million units in five days, making it the fastest-selling Pokemon game in the U.S.. Ever. It's safe to say Pokemon isn't going out of style, and we still have a massive case of "gotta catch 'em all" fever.
