Puzzle Quest demo released

Infinite Interactive has just released a demo of the upcoming (tomorrow, actually) puzzle/RPG hybrid game Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. The PC demo lets you get a feel for the game's unique mechanics and play style, but a mouse and keyboard could never replace our beloved dual screens and stylus. Puzzle Quest is an attempt to crack the casual/hardcore gaming barrier by introducing quick, pick-up-and-play elements to grab players from the start but integrating character development and other aspects to keep us interested in the long-run. The game plays like a classic computer RPG game (think Ultima series... kinda) but with bejeweled-like tile-swapping in place of the battles. It's an interesting idea, and the demo definitely shows some promise! Download it now and get ready for the DS release in less than 24 hours!
