Sonic Rush Adventure DS Video

Sonic Rush Adventure fuses the 2D highspeed platform action of Sonic's very first Megadrive/Genesis outing with some nicely incorporated 3D elements. Think Paper Mario at 400mph and you are in the right ballpark.





Gametrailers.com have posted this excellent video of the game in action, and if I wasn't so sure before, let it be said that this is good enough to turn me into a convert. The games seems to make excellent use of the twin DS screens. See for yourself:



Sonic's latest outings seem to have been a bit sub-par, so this could well be the one to change things, sticking as it does to the proven 2D high octane scrolling action that made this particular hedgehog franchise a hot property in the first place.

Throw in some water sports and some impressive looking 3D boss levels, and you have the makings of a game that might not score so highly on originality, but looks like it packs in some killer gameplay as compensation.
