Famitsu, as you no doubt know, is the gaming bible in Japan, so when they give a game a high score, you know it's going to be worth playing. Well, Super Mario Galaxy just scooped up a dizzying 38/40, as near to perfect as it comes.

Almost Monumental reports:
Hey? What was wrong with Nintendogs? :P

Almost Monumental reports:
"Famitsu, the biggest video game magazine in Japan, are the first to review "the second coming", Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii, and they have given it a score of 38/40. 2 reviewers gave it a 9, and the other 2 a perfect 10. For comparison, Famitsu gave Super Mario 64 a score of 39/40 and Super Mario Sunshine a score of 37/40. Of course they also gave nintendogs a perfect score, so I don't blame you if you don't have complete faith in their scores."
