Lovers of cute japanese creatures and less than dizzying gameplay will welcome the news that the sickeningly kawaii Tamagochi franchise has now arrived on the Wii console.




Tagagochi Party On brings migraine-inducingly colourful graphics and the chance to guide your personal favourite of the many Tamagotchi through the surreal, cutesy world of Tamagotchi town.

Players swing, shake, twist, point and turn the controller to their heart's content, as they guide their Tamagotchi towards becoming the most popular in the expansive game world, playing alongside up to three friends.

Throw in an assortment of fun mini-games and advanced customization options, and this could be the next best thing to the forthcoming Animal Crossing in terms of relaxed, dreamy, somewhat open-ended Wii gaming. Certainly not one for everyone, but if the popularity of the previous Tamagotchi games are anything to go by, this will likely find a strong fan base nevertheless.
