The Best Way To Catch A Wii

Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America, recently had a conference call with the gaming media.
More than anything else, what I wanted to pass along to my readers was information regarding Gamestop's rain check program. Apparently, on December 20th, Gamestop will be offering a deal where you can purchase a Wii in full, and get said Wii no later than the end of January. Tends of thousands of Wiis will be offered.
I know many of my readers still do not have a Wii. Most cannot afford to pay the sometimes absurd amounts being asked for on eBay, nor do they have time to wait in line at 5 AM at a store.
This, to me, is a great way to score one. Maybe not in time for Christmas, but you can take a box and wrap it up with that rain check receipt inside. I know if I were a little kid, I'd be very happy knowing that I would be getting one soon. My parents tended to wait until the initial madness over a console died down before Santa would do his thing, though (I remember getting the SNES
about three years into the system's lifecycle). Anyway, by all means hit Gamestop up for the raincheck.
