The Latest Mario Game… Presenting Mario Sluggers!
I'm long overdue for blogging about this title, Nintendo published and Namco made Mario Super Sluggers. This is, hopefully, the last of the "Mario" titles for at least a few months, but it does, like all the various Mario titles, look like fun.
Baseball is one of those "born for the Wii" genres, much like golf, yet like golf we have yet to see the definitive Wii treatment of the sport (the amazing, yet not really Wii-centric MLB Power Pros notwithstanding). Maybe Mario Sluggers can fill that void.
I would have much preferred if Camelot, the developer making Capcom's We Love Golf, were making this game and not Namco, however. Camelot has a much better track record for this sort of thing.

Did I read somewhere that this game is going to have some *ridiculous* number of playable characters? Like, something like 50? I really wasn’t excited for this one when it was first announced but, after watching some videos, it might be a ton of fun with the Wiimote… we shall see, I guess!
