The Sadness saga continues
Filed in archive News on April 12, 2007
The on-again-off-again title from Polish developer Nibris is having some trouble once again. The pre-WWII-themed horror adventure game slated for a Wii release sometime this decade struggled to find a publisher, found one, then lost it in secrecy. Embarrasingly, an IGN forum member uncovered that Frontline Studios has quietly dropped Sadness from its roster.
Many have been skeptical with Nibris' claims of developing half a dozen unique titles with a team of just 14. Are they making empty claims or do we have a wonder developer on our hands? Kiff News did some further digging and confirmed with Nibris that Sadness is a real game in real development... for real. We'll just have to wait for another publisher to speak up and take the helm.
