The Wii and Porn
Another group is preparing to attack the video games industry, this time it's a website called The Porn Talk backed by a faith-based ministry in California. Apparently the group believes the Wii is a "portal to porno" and that parents will unwittingly allow their children to view pornography by browsing the internet with the Wii. The only thing their statement really shows is that these people have little to no clue as to what they're talking about. They do happen to have one valid point: parents should pay attention to what their children are doing. But why target the Wii specifically, the most kid-friendly system on the market? Fortunately it seems some actual Wii owners are letting their voices be heard in the comments section of blog posts The Porn Talk's website.

what?!? If people were concerned about kids watching porn they would do something about the PC or just not put the internet app on the wii. Plain and simple!

What the he’ll do you expect! These people are fuking missionaries. The mention of boobs will send them into rage. The wii barely has internet capabilities and can’t even run flash video. The worst a kid could do is search “boobies” on the wii for fun and then turn off there wii in fear of cooties! And if they are old enough to have interest in porn why would they even have a wii the wii is mainly targeted for children parents and old people not porn loving teenagers! This is ridiculous!!
