A new trailer for the surreal DS RPG Freshly Picked - Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland went live today, just ahead of its September 14th European release. Strangely there is yet to be any mention of a US version being released at all, so it looks like stateside Tingle fans might have to plump for a UK import.




The game is a colourful, decidedly strange romp in the Final Fantasy mold, but with a very different overall look and feel. Tingle is not a particularly well known or loved character in the west, so it is perhaps surprising that the game was scheduled for release outside of Japan at all, where the Zelda spin-off character has a loyal following.

Nevertheless, in the new trailer, which you can view over at Joystiq, it has to be said that this action RPG does look kind of fun, in a puke-coloured, nightmarish kind of way...
