Wii

Wii Fit is a really big experiment from Nintendo. With Wii's dominance all but assured for the time being in America, Nintendo is still in a bit of a battle in Japan. The PS3 and PSP have been making steady inroads, and console gaming in general is on the decline.

Wii Fit is Nintendo's answer to that. In this blogger's opinion, it is more than just a peripheral. It represents Nintendo's best effort to re-invigorate the sagging console market in the land of the rising sun.
The fitness device (and snowboarding simulator, it seems!) has, according to nintendowiifanboy.com, taken in 300,000 preorders in Japan. This, hopefully, points to another success.
