Perrin Kaplan, Nintendo's vice president of marketing and corporate affairs, recently broke the news that the Wii shortage isn't likely to disappear in the next few months. Manufacturing problems? End of the fiscal year business move? Far from it. Nintendo is doing their best to pump out the systems, but demand is so high it's difficult to keep up. Kaplan politely asks fans to "be patient and to know that we are working on this as fast as we can."
In the meantime, desperate Wii searchers will have to hit up eBay and hope their local Wal-Mart/Circuit City/Target/toys 'r Us happens upon a box or two. Come to think of it, I have yet to see a Wii out in the wild.

I was one of the lucky ones that got one on opening day. I waited in line for 4 hours then they told everybody that they would have a drawing their was only 3 of them and over 30 people I was the first to win the draw. Everybody eyeballed me like they wanted to jump me. I got lucky! But it’s April now and still can't find a Wii. What do you do except wait ha! At least by the time you get one they will have a lot of games out ha! Must think positive!
