Nintendo Wii Back With a Better Friend Code System
Adding someone as a friend through Nintendo Wii used give experienced gamers a headache: you needed to make numerous calls, emails and other actions to successfully add someone as a friend on your Wii network. Wii came under a lot of criticism for its clumsy 'friend code system', but Wii representative say that the problem has been fixed in the new version.
Nintendo's latest console, Wii U will still have the friend code system, but in a refined form, "The friend code system has also been refined. It still exists but in the same way that you'd need to pair up with friends on PSN or Xbox Live," says Rob Lowe, Marketing Manager, Nintendo UK. He also said that they observed technologist by other companies to refine the Wii friend code system and give a better online experience.
