Two More Games Announced for Revolution House of Nintendo

Seen that? - Two More Games Announced for Revolution
Crossbeam Studios Entertainment has announced that they will be bringing two, and hopefully three, new games to the Nintendo Revolution. CSE is a small studio--the team working on these games has just sixteen members--but they hope to be very successful on the next generation consoles. CSE's "About Us" page describes them as unconcerned with polygon count and other graphical issues, which sounds exactly like Nintendo. Orb and Thorn are the two [...] Read More

Revolution Developers Get More than 1000 Dev Kits House of Nintendo

IGN has recently reported that over 1000 Revolution development kits have been distributed to various developers. Perhaps unfortunately for Nintendo fanboys, many kits are said to be nothing more than Gamecubes with wired Revolution controllers. However, many of the more prestigious developers have supposedly received kits that more closely resemble the Revolution and will soon have kits that are approximately 90% similar to the final kits. Developers expect these by June. More [...] Read More

Gaming for Girls (Social Gaming) PC Gamers Wiki

Walsh Statistics now show that more and more women are gaming. Of course "hardcore" gamers wouldn't call what these girls do gaming. There's even a term for it, social gaming. Playing Farmville on Facebook isn't serious gaming. It involves no skill, mostly mindless clicking and occasionally interacting with other friends to gain levels faster… But if you look at most MMORPGs , there are similarities. You still interact [...] Read More

The new Nintendo 3DS Console: Will it feature a new 3D girl game too?

3D seems to be the flavor of the season in the world of electronics and in order to make that flavor available to all Nintendo intends to reveal a 3D version of its popular DS handheld games console.

We all are aware that special glasses are needed to watch 3D content but Nintendo 3D console will be different from the rest as you will not be required to wear glasses in this case. The new 3D gaming device will be known as 3DS and will be a successor to the popular DS which has sold more than 125 million units worldwide.

One good thing about this new 3D console from Nintendo is that it will be compatible with existing games. The console is expected to available somewhere in 2010 or start of 2011. More details will available at the E3 games show to be held in June. I just hope when the new console is launched, the company even introduces a new game featuring 3D girl. 

Nintendo vs Sony: A War of Words

Filed in archive Wii on March 18, 2010

Following a new Sony ad campaign involving rather unsubtle swipes at the Wii and Microsoft's Project Natal for the Xbox 360 (a new motion-sensing element for the console), a war of words has commenced across the companies. In a rather uncharacteristic move, the war has even dragged Nintendo into it, with Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Aime pointing out that not many people will be attracted by the already overpriced PS3, plus another $100 for the motion-sensing element.

It's probably better not to rise to the comments of pale imitations, but in this case he has a point. Sony are just proving that they are indulging in yet another campaign to undermine the highest-selling console of this generation. We can't help but feel, though, that their campaign will fail. How many of the overtly HARDCORE gamers attracted to the PS3 are going to bother with something clearly ripped off the Wii?

Nintendo sales figures House of Nintendo

Straight from the officially official Nintendo press site comes... drum roll... sales figures! While it may sound like something out of a Dilbert comic strip, I always find it strangely validating to glance over the big numbers and realize I'm not the only Nintendo fan out there. See that 35.61 million sitting there? I'm one of those. Two, actually, if you count both the original and DS Lite I purchased. [...] Read More

GM Tallies Mixed Sales Figures For November carzz.org

By Gunnar Heinrich Despite reporting three consecutive months of sales growth - which stood as a breath of fresh air for those concerned about the General's welfare - GM's overall sales slid sharply in November. GM's PR people chalked the losses up to "reductions in daily rental sales and softening industry demand." Overall US sales did, in fact, slip by 11% from November of last year. And needless to say, GM's sales [...] Read More
